Cathys Cleaners claims to be the "Greenest Cleaner in Central Oregon" by boasting about the additive called Sanitone they put in their dry cleaning solvent. The Truth? They Dry Clean in Perchloroethylene, a human carcinogen. Ford Cleaners also makes these boastful, dishonest claims. Their fancy colorful coupon pages talk about how 'green' they are. I just have to say that following federal guidelines with the disposal of your toxic chemical (perc) doesn't make you GREEN either.
